Bridging the gap between PR and Media

Media Training

Practical and empowering media training at the Press Association’s broadcast studios

Your campaign is fast-approaching, but are your spokespeople prepared for their moment in front of the cameras or on-air? Just a few minutes in the media spotlight could make or break your company’s reputation and give the journalist the story they want. Worse still, it could turn your story into headline news for all the wrong reasons.

Our media training courses offer practical interview training for company spokespeople in a realistic, media environment. From our broadcast training studios at the Press Association, we teach media interview techniques from a journalistic point of view through a series of bespoke press and broadcast media training exercises.

Spokespeople have the opportunity to learn then practice the delivery of key messages with personalised feedback from our journalist media trainers.

Each TNR media training team consists of an experienced Course Director with a background in journalism, press and broadcast PR and a journalist media trainer with extensive experience of writing and presenting for both press and broadcast media. The team undertakes detailed desk research before every session to ensure the content of each media training exercise is as close as possible to the real life media interviews that spokespeople might expect to face.
