Bridging the gap between PR and Media

Key Message Training

Key message development training at the Press Association

A media campaign without a clear objective is a wasted opportunity. PR teams – and their spokespeople - need to focus on their key messages and what their company can get out of an interview with a journalist.

A Key Message Session at TNR stops style taking over content. By dissecting your company’s media campaign and analysing your key messages, a course director and journalist trainer will teach you the techniques to make your story more attractive to journalists and allow you to control the agenda.

Using these tools, your spokesperson will then be interviewed by our journalist trainer at the Press Association’s studios (either radio or TV) to ensure they are prepared for their next media encounter.

We deliver presentation skills training across almost all sectors in the business community; academic environment; NHS; local and central government; and other non commercial organisations throughout the UK and Europe.
